Venice Beach is the approximately 4.5 km long, sandy beach located on the Pacific coast of the Venice district, which was incorporated by Los Angeles in 1925. The beach section connects south to the beach of Santa Monica. Due to the mild climate of Southern California, the beach is well frequented throughout the year.
