Street in San Francisco, California. The most famous section is located between Hyde Street and Leavenworth Street, and in the early 20th century was a paved, straight street. Lombard Street was named by Jasper O’Farrell after the street of the same name in Philadelphia, and received its first tourist attraction in 1860 when David Dobson opened an observatory there.
