Cars should be parked as theft-proof as possible. Guarded parking lots do not always provide sufficient protection against theft, which is why no valuables, especially no documents, should be left in the vehicle. You should file a theft report at the nearest police station in case of theft of your car. The report should contain precise information about the time and place of the incident, car license plate number and personal data (name, date of birth, nationality, passport number, etc.). Car travel during night hours should be avoided if possible.
