NASA postpones launch of Artemis I

There will be no third attempt in the coming days: NASA postpones launch of Artemis I will not use the launch window for the “Artemis I” that exists until Tuesday. First of all, it will be investigated which repairs are necessary.

The U.S. space agency NASA has also canceled the second launch attempt of its unmanned lunar mission. The launch manager of “Artemis I”, Charlie Blackwell-Thompson, has canceled the attempt, as a spokesman announced. The reason was a leak, which could not be closed. A few hours before the planned take-off of the rocket, it had been discovered on a pipe with which about three million liters of hydrogen and liquid oxygen were to be pumped into the tanks.
