Safety measures
Because the Eiffel Tower is a historic landmark with special local conditions and heavy visitor traffic, special security precautions are taken for the public. Exceptionally, all or part of the areas accessible to the public may be closed and the contents of bags and other luggage searched. Bulky luggage and animals – except guide dogs – cannot be taken up the Eiffel Tower. There is no luggage storage at the Eiffel Tower.
